Amel Bouzeghoub is currently a full professor in the Computer Science Department at Telecom SudParis part of Institut Mines-Télécom, France and is member of CNRS UMR 5157 Samovar laboratory. She received a degree of PhD in Computer Science from Pierre & Marie Curie University. Her current research area includes Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Semantic Web, Context-Aware Recommender Systems, Ontology-Aware Systems, Semantic & Adaptive Information Systems, Technology-Enhanced Learning, User Modeling. She is the leader of  ACMES research team and SIMBAD research group (part of ACMES). She has been involved in several national and international research projects and she has served the Program Committee of several international conferences.
